Applications:

1. Mainly used to improve dry and wet strength of unsaturated polyester resin composites with good light transmittance; also applicable to polyurethane, polybutene, polypropylene, polyethylene and EPDM rubber.

2. Dipping glass fiber with this coupling agent can enhance wet mechanical strength and electrical properties of glass fiber reinforced composites.

3. Can be formulated into mixed coupling agent with KH-550 or KH-560 as required. In wire and cable industry, treating peroxide-crosslinked EPDM system filled with clay by this coupling agent improves dissipation factor and specific inductive capacitance.

4. Improves adhesion of inorganic materials such as fumed silica, talc, clay, mica, kaolin and pottery clay, increases water resistance and lowers curing temperature.

5. Copolymerizes with vinyl acetate, acrylic or methacrylic monomers; these polymers are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants to provide excellent adhesion and durability.

Storage & Transportation:

This product hydrolyzes and polycondenses into silanol when exposed to water, which is affected by temperature, pH value and concentration. Keep away from light and moisture. Storage below 25℃ for no more than 3 months is recommended.

2. Keep sealed; polymerization may occur under moisture and heat. It is slightly irritating to skin and eyes, so protective equipment is required during use.
