Applications

  Used as glass fiber treatment agent and crosslinking agent in rubber, plastics, glass fiber, coatings, adhesives, sealants and other products. It is a reactive and crosslinkable silane coupling agent, hydrolyzable under acidic or alkaline conditions. Widely used in natural and synthetic rubber, also used as reinforcing agent and crosslinking accelerator in composites (such as resin glass fiber composites), coatings, inks, glues and sealing materials, also used as resin modification additive and enzyme immobilizer. Commonly used to treat inorganic fillers such as SiO2 and carbon black, acting as activator, coupling agent, crosslinking agent and reinforcing agent in polymers such as rubber and silicone rubber. With mercapto functional group, it has special effect as metal surface anti-rust agent. Treating metal surfaces such as gold, silver and copper can improve their corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and adhesion to polymer materials.

Widely used in filled polymer materials, suitable for thermosetting and thermoplastic polymers, such as epoxy, nitrile, phenolic sulfone, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyether sulfone, etc.

Especially effective in rubber industry, can improve mechanical properties, wear resistance, reduce permanent deformation, suitable for NR, EPDM, SBR, polysulfide rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, polyurethane rubber, etc.

It is also suitable for a wide range of inorganic fillers, such as glass fiber, fumed silica, quartz powder, talc, mica, fly ash clay, kaolin and other silicon-containing substances.

Storage & Transportation:

This product is stable under normal temperature and pressure. Keep away from open flames and high temperatures. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. Keep container sealed. The storage area should be equipped with emergency leakage treatment equipment and suitable containment materials.
