Applications

     1. RTV Resins and Silane Crosslinked Sealants: As a difunctional silane coupling agent, it improves the adhesion of various substrates including glass, steel, aluminum and concrete when added to one / two-component silane crosslinked sealants. When used as silylated polyurethane polymers via SPURSM technology, it significantly enhances adhesion to a range of plastics.

   2. Polysulfide Sealants: When added to one / two-component polysulfide sealants, it provides excellent adhesion to various substrates including glass, aluminum and steel. The usual dosage is 0.5-1.0% by weight of the sealant. It disperses well and results in cohesive failure rather than interfacial failure. In addition, it eliminates the need for primers to promote coating adhesion.

   3. Thermal Insulation Materials: In the production of glass wool and mineral wool, adding it to phenolic adhesives improves moisture resistance, increases compressive resilience and enhances product strength.

   4. Foundry Industry: Suitable for phenolic resin coated sand processes. It reduces resin dosage in silica sand, lowers gas emission of resin at high temperatures, greatly improves sand core strength, resulting in smoother casting surfaces and lower production costs.

   5. Abrasives: In the abrasives industry, it improves compatibility between emery and resins, significantly enhancing product strength and toughness. Applicable resins: phenolic, PA, PU, PC, melamine, acrylic, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, RTV resin, etc.
